The report reflects student-level and aggregate outcomes aligned to the College\/Career Indicator used in the California School Dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>This report is designed to:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Measure the percentage of students who are prepared for college and\/or career pathways<br>&#8211; Provide insight into student readiness prior to graduation<br>&#8211; Support district and site staff in monitoring progress toward College\/Career Indicator outcomes<br>&#8211; Validate data submitted through CALPADS for accountability reporting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Data Sources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This report is derived from data submitted through CALPADS End-of-Year (EOY) submissions, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Course completion and transcript data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State assessment results (CAASPP Grade 11).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Career Technical Education (CTE) pathway completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>College credit and Advanced Placement participation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State Seal of Biliteracy and other recognized indicators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data reflects certified CALPADS submissions used for Dashboard calculations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key Metrics Included<br>&#8211; CCI Status Categories.<br>&#8211; Prepared \u2013 Student meets criteria in at least one approved college or career pathway.<br>&#8211; Approaching Prepared \u2013 Student is on track but does not yet meet full criteria.<br>&#8211; Not Prepared \u2013 Student does not meet readiness criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 The CCI measures how well schools prepare students for postsecondary success<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">College &amp; Career Measures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students may qualify through multiple pathways, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UC\/CSU \u201cA\u2013G\u201d completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Career Technical Education (CTE) pathway completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>College credit (dual enrollment).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CAASPP Grade 11 performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State Seal of Biliteracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work-based learning or pre-apprenticeships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 Students are only counted once, even if multiple measures are met<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Districts and schools can use this report to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Identify students on track vs. not on track for college\/career readiness, Monitor progress toward Dashboard CCI performance levels, Evaluate effectiveness of:<br>&#8211; A\u2013G completion efforts<br>&#8211; CTE programs<br>&#8211; Dual enrollment opportunities<br>&#8211; Support counseling and intervention planning for high school students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important Considerations<br>Data is based on certified CALPADS submissions and cannot be modified after submission deadlines. CCI status is determined using a combination of multiple measures, not a single indicator.Timing of data submissions (courses, assessments, program participation) directly impacts results.
