Impersonation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc64 Who Can Use This<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>User Impersonation<\/strong> feature is available only to users with <strong>Administrator<\/strong> permissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Administrators can temporarily sign in as another user to troubleshoot issues, verify security permissions, or experience OnDataSuite from another user&#8217;s perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfaf Purpose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">User Impersonation allows administrators to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Troubleshoot user-reported issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify security permissions and report access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm dashboard and menu visibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reproduce problems experienced by another user.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test changes without requiring the user&#8217;s credentials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All impersonation sessions are logged for auditing purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u25b6\ufe0f Start an Impersonation Session<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to <strong>Administrator \u2192 User Administration \u2192 List, Edit and Delete Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locate the user you want to impersonate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Impersonate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the reason for the impersonation (<strong>required<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Start Impersonation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will immediately be logged in as the selected user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A banner at the top of the page clearly indicates that you are currently impersonating another user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u23f9\ufe0f End an Impersonation Session<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you have finished:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Exit Impersonation<\/strong> from the impersonation banner at the top of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be returned to your own administrator account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on where you are in the application, you may also have the option to return directly to editing the impersonated user&#8217;s account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd0d View the Impersonation Log<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Administrators can review all impersonation activity by navigating to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Administrator \u2192 Logs \u2192 Impersonation Log<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The log includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Administrator who initiated the impersonation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User who was impersonated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reason provided<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Session start date and time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Session duration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Session status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Possible session statuses include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Status<\/th><th>Description<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Active<\/strong><\/td><td>The impersonation session is currently in progress.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Closed<\/strong><\/td><td>The administrator exited the impersonation session normally.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Expired<\/strong><\/td><td>The session ended
