Waiver or opt-out tracking and results from other California-approved reading screening assessments are not included.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc64 What this Report Shows<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DIBELS Screening Report summarizes how many eligible students have and have not completed an Amplify DIBELS screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the selected School filter, the report displays:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One row per school when <strong>All Schools<\/strong> is selected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One row per grade when an individual school is selected<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Total enrolled students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number and percentage screened<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number and percentage not screened<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>District totals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student-level drill-downs for screened and not-screened students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only students enrolled as of the selected date are included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udca1 Suggested Uses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DIBELS Screening Report helps districts and schools:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monitor Kindergarten through 2nd grade screening participation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify students who have not completed a required screening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review participation by school or grade.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor screening completion during Beginning, Middle, and End of Year administration windows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify late-enrolling students who may be approaching or exceeding the expected screening timeline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support school-level follow-up and screening coordination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Export summary or student-level results for additional review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udded Data Sources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report combines data from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CALPADS Student Enrollment (SENR)<\/strong> records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amplify DIBELS<\/strong> assessment records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CALPADS enrollment is authoritative for determining which students are included in the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students with Amplify DIBELS results who are not part of the CALPADS enrollment population as of the selected date are not included in either the Total Students or Screened counts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf9b Filter Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Year<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select the academic year used for both:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CALPADS enrollment records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amplify DIBELS assessment records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Administration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select one or more benchmark administration periods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Beginning of Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Middle of Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>End of Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A student is counted as <strong>Screened<\/strong> when the student has a qualifying composite in any selected administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no carry-forward from an earlier administration period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, when only <strong>Middle of Year<\/strong> is selected, a student with only a Beginning of Year composite is not counted as screened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">As Of Date<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select the point-in-time enrollment date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only students enrolled on this date are included in <strong>Total Students<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">School<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All Schools<\/strong> to display one row per school<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An individual school to display one row per grade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select a school name in the summary table to open its grade-level Report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Total Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Total Students includes students who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are enrolled in Kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a qualifying CALPADS enrollment record for the selected year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Were enrolled on the selected As Of Date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report includes CALPADS grade codes associated with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kindergarten: KN, K, or KG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1st Grade: 01<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2nd Grade: 02<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transitional Kindergarten is excluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A student is considered enrolled when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enrollment Start Date is on or before the As Of Date, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enrollment Exit Date is blank, null, <code>0000-00-00<\/code>, or on or after the As Of Date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a student has multiple qualifying enrollment records, the record with the latest Enrollment Start Date is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Screened<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A student is counted as Screened when the student:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is included in the CALPADS as-of enrollment population<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has an Amplify DIBELS record for the selected academic year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has both a nonblank composite score and a nonblank composite level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has a benchmark period matching at least one selected administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Progress-monitoring records do not count unless they are recognized as Beginning, Middle, or End of Year and contain a qualifying composite score and level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Not Screened<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not Screened is calculated as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Total Students \u2212 Screened<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This population includes enrolled students who do not have a qualifying Amplify DIBELS composite for any selected administration period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Screening Percentages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>% Screened<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Screened \u00f7 Total Students \u00d7 100<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>% Not Screened<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not Screened \u00f7 Total Students \u00d7 100<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two percentages should total approximately 100%, subject to rounding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u23f1 Days Since Enrollment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Days Since Enrollment appears in the Not Screened student list only for students identified as late enrollees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report determines the district&#8217;s school start date using the most common K\u20132 Enrollment Start Date for the selected academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A student is considered a late enrollee when the student&#8217;s Enrollment Start Date is on or after:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>District School Start Date + 91 calendar days<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Days Since Enrollment is calculated using calendar days from the student&#8217;s Enrollment Start Date through the selected As Of Date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Values of <strong>45 days or more<\/strong> are highlighted as overdue based on California&#8217;s screening expectation for late-enrolling students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u26a0\ufe0f Important Considerations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The report includes Amplify DIBELS results only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waivers and opt-outs
